The schools are back, so are the traffic jams and we all know someone flush with just having sold their house at full asking price on the same day it went on the market. London post-lockdown is back in business -  in some senses at least.

Despite the loss of international buyers, overseas students and corporate relocations in recent months, the market has been 'surprisingly busy' , reports Marcus Dixon, LonRes's head of research.  The number of properties going under offer in August rose 8% compared with last year, new instructions are double last August's levels, and prices rose 2.8% compared with the same month in 2019.
