Houses Outperform Flats as Prime London Sees Price Hikes Across the Board

Overall achieved sales prices in prime London were up 5% while rents were up 28.3% year-over-year in April, according to a report released Monday by property analysis firm LonRes.
Houses continued to outpace flats, with prices for houses rising 7.6% year-over-year in April compared to a 4.5% price increase for flats during the same period. The numbers are more stark over a two-year period: Since April 2020, prime London house prices have risen by 6.1%, while flat prices have fallen by 0.9%.
