Maida Vale sits in northwest London and has a reputation for being secluded and quiet.
The neighborhood is a leafy and tucked-away area, with independent shops and cafes and film set-worthy streets. A pivotal scene in the 2014 film “Paddington” was filmed on Warrington Crescent, which has pillared white stucco houses.
Fashionable and almost all residential, with a local vibe, the neighborhood has a similar feel to Notting Hill and Primrose Hill but prices are lower, according to James Simpson of Knight Frank. Singers Björk, Noel Gallagher and Jarvis Cocker have all lived there, which adds to its cool reputation.
