The Daily Telegraph Britain's most expensive street has been revealed as Avenue Road, in north-west London, where the average house price is £30.5m. The road, which runs from Regent’s Park to Swiss Cottage in St John's Wood, was crowned the priciest by Lloyds bank. It has stolen the top spot from last year’s winner, Ilchester Place in London’s Holland Park, where buyers pay on average £17m for a home. The second and third most expensive streets in the country this year are both also located in the capital. On Tite Street in Chelsea, the average home costs £28.9m while on South Audley Street, Mayfair, it is £22.9m.
