Report Highlights

In this edition, we've included an analysis of our recent Agent Survey, which saw responses from over 500 property professionals on the LonRes network. Thank you to all those who contributed and helped us paint a comprehensive picture of the current market. 

Sales Market

  • At the end of June there were 25.8% more £5m+ properties for sale on the market than a year earlier.
  • New instructions were 9.7% higher than in Q2 2023.

Lettings Market

  • Number of lets agreed was up by 9.1% over the first six months of the year, compared to the same period in 2023.
  • Rents remain at record levels, almost 30% above their level at the end of 2019.
