LonRes Buying Agent Survey

With more of London's prime purchasers now using a search agent to assist with their purchase, LonRes search agent subscribers were surveyed to see how the market has changed.

Survey highlights

• 54% of respondents reported more competing buying agents in their areas in 2021
• The majority of clients were looking to spend more than £2 million
• 61% of buying agents said overseas buyers made up the majority of their clients
• 56% of buying agents reported they had sourced more properties off-market in the last 12 months
• Outside space factored highly on buyers’ wish lists as well as home office space
