United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty has confirmed a string of new hires, adding a quartet of former Knight Frankers as part of a “strategic expansion” across South West London. Sam Sproston and James Williams both move from Knight Frank to become a senior directors at UK SIR; Peter Norgrove is also now a senior director, following stints at Hamptons, Knight Frank and Savills; Alex Philo previously ran Knight Frank’s Wimbledon team. Knight Frank has made a series of “strategic people moves” across its Prime Central London residential sales team. Eight of the property consultancy’s key players stepped into new roles on 1st April 2025: James Pace is now a roaming “Prime & Super Prime rainmaker” across the Kensington & Chelsea; Charles Olver moves from Chelsea to become Kensington’s Head of Sales; the Chelsea and South Kensington sales teams have combined into a single “flagship” team, led by Rebecca Jane Higgins; Jordanna Mancina is now Sales Manager in Kensington, joined by Senior Negotiator Nicole Jackson; Claire Mengham is managing the Chelsea & South Kensington Core team; Rana Rizk has moved to the Notting Hill Prime & Super Prime team; Marc Collier takes a Prime & Super Prime role covering Marylebone and Hyde Park. Broker-model estate agency TAUK (AKA The Agency UK) has bought rival firm The Estate Agency for an undisclosed sum, and revealed it has “further acquisitions in the pipeline”. It’s “a strategic move to begin the consolidation of the self-employed brokerage sector in earnest,” says co-founder Andrew Vass. Read more here.

Luxury sector veteran Anthony Lassman has returned to the property business, some 50 years after setting up an eponymous boutique estate agency in Mayfair. Lassman is expanding his Nota Bene Global brand, which originally focused on producing high-end travel guides, to provide advice on super-prime property acquisitions in selected international destinations. Alisa Zotimova’s boutique London property consultancy AZ Real Estate has installed James McAlhone as its new Head of Residential Sales. McAlhone previously held senior positions at Dexters and Chestertons. Read more here.

Property portal Zoopla has installed a new Chief Executive Officer – re-hiring its former Strategy Director Paul Whitehead to the top job. The firm has also appointed a new Chief Finance Officer (Sam Fletcher) and Commercial Director (Alex Rose). Whitehead takes the reins from Charlie Bryant, who remains as Chief Exec of the portal’s parent company, Houseful. Read more here.
Two specialist property marketing agencies are to merge: Elevate PR was set up by Chanel Bailey in 2016; Ellwood PR is run by Founding Director Adam Foster. The two companies will “consolidate all operational aspects under a single organisation”, trading as Elevate but incorporating Ellwood branding. Current clients include Black Brick, Carter Jonas, Maskells, Anderson Rose, and St. William (part of the Berkeley Group). Read more here.

London-based developer Native Land has announced a wave of senior-level promotions, with six new directors joining the leadership team: Mark Campbell (Director – Residential Sales & Private Clients); Maria Gray (Director – Asset Management, Residential); Robert Harris (Development Director – Regeneration); Felicity Masefield (Director – Asset Management & ESG); Kirsty Monteith (Director – Capital Markets); Joe White (Director – Prime Residential). At the same time, former MARK exec James Moody has been installed as Chief Operating Officer, and Rebecca Thomson, previously Sales & Marketing Director at Camrose London, steps up to lead sales across the group.
